I am not defending gun registration in any way.
I just want to point out that in the computer age, if they ever want to go after everyone's guns it really wont be that hard.
Carry permits will lead them right to your door.
Bought a hunting license from the state?
Looking at our bank and credit card statements to see if we purchased from suspicious vendors(basspro/cabela's).
Looking through the customer purchases of vendor like midway and such.
Tracking down posters on forums like this.
No registration will slow them down some but they will eventually show up at everyone's door if they get their way.
