Must be tough for a really good gunsmith to master metrics or maybe they don't want to spend the coin to add that feature to their lathe.


If a fella bulks about changing the gears in the headstock to build my Tikka, someone else will get the job. The lathes I've been around are a simple gear change. Takes a couple minutes tops.
