Finally got to shoot on my range today. Using a factory New Haven Conn. Win. classic stainless ( CRF ) 24" bbl 270. My load again is 59.5grs Rel 19, Win LR primer, Win brass. Barnes 129gr LRX. OAL 3.02". This is a load from the Barnes manual using their 130gr TSX. MV 3259 fps in, my rifle. Shooting at an elevation of 7630'. Temp was running 38 to 40 dg. My 100yd target is actually at 108 yds due to terrain. Once sighted in at about 1 1/2" high two three shot groups were fired .Both were near identical with 3/4" horizontal & 1/2" vertical spread... Well under 1". At my 200yd target about 1" high dead center. . At 300 about 2" low. Not able at this time to shoot farther. All in all I am very satisfied with the results.
