Thanks. The crown looks ok, I think. I’ve ordered IMR-4895. I’ve always liked H4885 better, but I’ve seen that IMR 4895 is the favorite in the Nosler manual and in Ken Waters Pet loads. I used to shoot WW748 a lot in several cartridges mainly silhouette shooting. I pretty much knew what the temperatures were going to be. Lately I’ve been trying to switch to powders that are not as temperature sensitive since deer hunting (or elk and antelope) temperatures can be warm or pretty cold in SD. Maybe I’m overly concerned as when it’s much below zero degrees I’m not as likely to be sitting on a hillside or even pushing a draw anymore.
I’ll look at the crown a little closer. Thanks.
