The movie "flubs" are easier to spot when you've been down the same path - the acting sucks, and the uniforms are wrong, and the aircraft could never do what is shown.
But, the movie crowd around us cheers, and they go home feeling safe - we go home wondering who the technical adviser was that came up with that scene sequence...
Their getting everything wrong is what allows an E-3 on liberty to claim he flies F-14's.
