I think what's going on is,..many people who would run for the Democrat nomination has chosen to sit this one out because they know Trump is going to be hard to beat and they don't want to run and lose,......so they're waiting for 2024.
Consequently, the Democrat primary is filled with has beens and koo-koo birds.
