Sorry, no pics, but wow! I recently picked up a "like new", JM stamped Guide Gun in 45-70. I topped it with the only 1-5 power Leupold scope that I had, and took it out this morning to the farm for a bit of shooting. 300 gr Hornady with H4198. Got it zeroed at 100, then started shooting at steel plates at 200 and 250. That rifle shot MOA, or better at all distances!

I couldn't be happier! That is going to Michigan with me next month, along with the 7 SAUM, for sure!

Whats a longer barrelled 45-70 to stretch out some more distance? This little Marlin is much more than a brush gun. What's the next step up? I think the bug has bitten!
