After I sighted in my 2012 MRC 308, with a 7 year old Leupold VX II_2-7 ( 3 shots 1 1/2" high, less than 1" at 100yd's) I reached for the old 700.
1st shot out of a 7 year old cold barrel, bang, DEAD CENTER bulls eye, second shot , bang, DEAD CENTER kissing the first shot.
3rd shot, about 1/2" high and just a tad left. Another 3 shots less than 1"
Now, which one do I use on opening day ???
A 100 yd shot is very rare in my woods, usually a lot less.
I have loved my Remington 700, but 7 years ago I had MRC make me a sweet LH 308 that's hard not to use.
As far as trucks go, make mine a Ford, and Colts for any handgun.

I find nothing to argue about in that post. Other than the MRC 308 I could have written it.
