This!!! I also try for a nap, sometimes it happens, sometimes not. Last few nights has
been a lot of tossing and turning. I get a nap 2-3 times a week. Been retired for 6 years.

My body wants 9 hours with no naps in winter dark.. I can get by on as little as 7 on a regular basis, but after a couple days I start taking naps of an hour or so if I can. Now that I'm retired, I can get up when I feel like it- generally at 7 am, when the dog pulls the covers off me. She needs to pee, breakfast, and play, in that order, and won't take no for an answer.

During long daylight summers, I can get by on an hour or two less- cuz there's THINGS TO DO! And evening hours of daylight to do them in.

Of course, there's always the garage, and projects waiting, even in winter, but dammit, I'm retired![
