jpb, That is a McKenzie river drift boat, it has a flat bottom with a pronounced rocker ,front to back, it is designed to be rowed down a river and to be fished from. They can take moderate white water and due to the bottom shape are easily rowed and maneuvered.
They were designed in Oregon and named after the McKenzie river. I built this boat from a kit by a now defunct builder by the name Greg Tatman.
