This crap started when states started issuing drivers licenses to non-citizens.
AZ used to require all that stuff for a drivers license, so did TX. I'm guessing many other states did as well.
When they wanted non-citizens to be able to vote, they had to get them some 'official' IDs so they started allowing them to have drivers licenses.
There you go. Spot on, I think they should require the "Star" to vote...
