Good lord. People will watch someone physically assault another person without showing so much as a hint of outrage. Yet here is a goofy friggen kid kicking a deer that has likely been spined, and we are ready to hang the kid. That deer is tough as nails and probably didn't feel a damn thing. The optics here are bad, and the kids need a lesson on how to humanely dispatch a wounded animal, but in reality this is a nothing venison burger.

If there had been high definition video capable smart phones in every kids pocket 70 years ago I'm sure the archives would show nothing but upstanding actions and events.
