Hey, you old geezers, how hard can you push the 85 grain Sierra GK?
in a 243, 22" barrel 3358fps. 26" barrel 3614fps, 240 why, 26" barrel 3872fps
I've not used them in anything but a 243, but without taking the time to look it up, that's about the velocity that I'm getting with a 22 inch barrel. I use W760, 45.5 grains, and have never experienced what I thought was high pressure with that load.
