Not that I am trying to defend the NRA, but no one can file suit against the illegal laws until they are passed by the legislature, and one person is actually affected by them. Then it takes forever to work its way through the system.
And one can make a show beforehand to stop the laws from being passed which one would think would be a hell of a lot easier
