Same here, I will not be inclined to buy their 2x10 if it weighs more than 16 ounces (without illumination). 12 to 14 would be better, however that's probably just a wishful dream. Meopta's Meopro 3x9x40 is 15.9 ounces, is pretty much bullet proof and is available with a #4 reticle. If the new 2x10 doesn't trip your trigger, I think the existing 3x9 is an excellent alternate.
