I shot a G22 in USPSA limited class for a few months. Capacity, but a bit more muzzle flip than I wanted. Secured an M24 & shot it weekly for almost 2 years. Getting good now. Then hit the wall & realized I got good enough that I found myself waiting for that long slide to return so I could make my next shot. I wen't back to a hi cap 1911 format.
Now, that was before the Model 34 & 35, had they been around then............ ? But I have a 34 & 35 now & although I don't shoot competition now, I really think I could have rocked with the 5" format.
