I am setting up a 700 SS BDL to be rebored into a 35 Whelen. I have quite of few Remington 200 gr sp cl. As well a few 200 gr. RN cl. Was hoping they would stand up to the velocity. Also plan to try the 220 Speer HC and 180 TTSX to start with.
We have been using the Speers 180 HCFN in the 357 Maximum at 2325 FPS. Outstanding performance and every time has gave up pass throughs. Distance after the shot has been 0-25 yards.
My 357 Rimless is running a 180 at 2600 FPS. I don’t see the need for the 358 Win. Yet!!!! Lol
