I harvested a KY whitetail with a Hornady Inter-lok 200gr. RN from my .35 Whelen velocity approx 2,500 fps, performance was outstanding. A raking shot @ 100yds entering just ahead of the last two ribs traversed the chest cavity and came to rest under the hide on the far side. The bullet was perfectly mushroomed and retained 66% of its original weight. When I opened the chest the contents poured out, looked like they'd been in a blender the hydrostatic shock was formidable.
