About time for athletes , "artists", entertainers, taverns, and casinos to learn their proper place in society!

There is a problem when a huge percentage of the GNP is service industry. Nothing being produced, just money changing hands.

Apparently, the Toronto film industry has basically rolled over and died. A lot of films get shot there. Friend of a friend is in post-production and they’ll likely lose their house. There is nothing going on.

And I agree, in Shakespeare’s time acting was the profession of wastrels. How they came to be sought for their supposed erudition is beyond me.

Does the "friend of a friend" make a decent living normally?

If so, then Why do they not have a few months worth of mortgage payments saved then? Even one or two would help.

And is your government not helping out?
