Of the food you have in your home right now , what would be the last thing you would eat. For me the pulled chicken with buffalo style sauce MRE would signal the end is near.
A case of canned deviled ham I bought about ten years ago. It's likely fine. After all, people eat much older C-Rations and such. Actually, even further down the line are several boxes of freeze dried survival food I have. I tried it once, and it's not very tasty.
