There are corona virus vaccines for animals. Dogs and cattle. For varieties that cause diarrhea. Several years ago I had 4 calves die from what started out as scours and ended up pneumonia. The next year we vaccinated and had no more of that. I know that doesn't speak to whether a vaccine for the present problem is possible.
