My understanding is that Americans don't own their companies in chinksville, they are partnerships. As such the products they produce belongs to the chinese.
US companies can own 49% but the Chinese Government owns the remainder.
That's not accurate.
China has strong-armed companies into handing over trade secrets in exchange for market access.
Only in some sectors will China let foreign firms operate through joint ventures,in which Chinese partners have the majority stake.
