There are no such things as private property rights in China.

The company I work for spent half a billion dollars building a large facility in China. It was understood from the get go that they do not own it, the Chinese government does. If something is physically located in China, whether it's a building, medical equipment, medical supplies, or YOU then the Chinese government will take it if they want to and there is absolutely nothing that you can do about it other than beg for it back.

That's just the way communism works. If they weren't that way then they wouldn't be communist.

The son of a friend of mine is a robotics technician that made frequent trips to an auto parts manufacturing facility in chinksville. I've heard of the problems he's encountered dealing with them. My son was a manufacturing process engineer for a company that produces medical equipment and components for joint replacement parts. The company is in direct competition with chinese manufacturers. They have a good clientele list of doctors who demand stuff be made in the U.S. due to the poor quality of chinksville manufactured surgical equipment.
