The snakes and I get along pretty well here at the farm. When they're around, I know they're taking care of the mice and such. When they go away the rodents roam the house at will and I get dropping everywhere. The first time ever saw this one, he was sliding in under the kitchen door and heading for a hole in the floor.

Every year this one and his little brother leave their skins hanging from a maple tree outside my bedroom just to let me know they're still on the job.
