Gosh darn! I was thinking of just bedding the lug myself and seeing how it does. Most of the 70's have been good like that. If it needs full bedding I'll send it off to Kevin Weaver.
I weighed mine last night and it was 1lb 12.9 ounces on my scale. It was a bit heavier than I was expecting if your's was 27 ounces.
Difference in barrel channel?
Or LOP, recoil pad?
Hadn't thought of Kevin, may give him a shout.
My smith also generally beds just the recoil lug.
