Checking my notes here are a few weights of the McMillan Bridges stocks in Edge fill I've owned.

25.2oz (.30-06)
27.6oz (.308)
24.2 oz (wsm)
24.6 oz (7mm Rem Mag)
27oz (7mm Dakota)
27oz (.300 RUM)

All without bedding, with recoil pads. Interestingly the short action .308 is the heaviest and the 7mm Rem among the lightest.

Beretzs brings up a good point with the Pound'r.

I need to get my hands on one to feel how it compares to the Bridges.

The short action would be the heaviest. It contains the most material.

Chuck, wouldn't the WSM be about the same? I mean they are the same thing? I know were only talking a couple ounces but 3 ounces between the two 308/WSM seems like a bunch if everything else is the same.
