It will interesting to see the condition of the real estate when the legal owners and tenants eventually return. I pray they have some serious insurance.
I strongly suspect future insurance policies will have Clauses that eliminate responsibility for looting and vandalism and rioting/arson that is fully Sanctified by the government.
For example if I was an insurance company insuring a bank and the government said bank robbery is no longer a crime I would no longer ensure that bank.
What that means is all perils insurance policy maybe a thing of the past for residents of Oregon and other Democratic Nirvana states of mind.
