They need an armed response from the residents.
Best thing that could happen. A group of residents take on their
own self defense. But, those that live there probably don't have
that American self reliant mentality, or the hardware.

No, among the 8 houses in our community, everyone would be able to choose
their weapon. Sidearms might be short, but I would share.
