How can we ever move on from history, if we/they, keep looking back at it?
No culture can move forward by looking back and living life through those means.
It’s a good thing to hold dear to one’s history for the sole purpose of seeing how far we’ve come if for no other reason.
Failure to assimilate and adapt is total failure. Period.
