$1,100 would be a stretch even for a NIB Winchester 70 in 225 WIN. A NIB Savage 340V in 225 WIN might be worth half that. I've owned four or five Savage 340Vs in 225 WIN and didn't pay more than $350 for any of them. I've always thought that the single locking lug Savage340 action was only marginally strong enough for the 225 WIN, marginal enough such that I wouldn't want to shoot them.
