She’s really tall (5’9”) for her age but very skinny so while so while I think she’ll be fine with an adult sized rifle I’m a little concerned about recoil. I have a 243 and 7mm-08 that she can use. Trying to decide whether I should have her use full power 243 loads or reduced 7mm-08 loads. The 243 is a Sako Varmint so won’t kick much at all but it’s a fairly heavy setup. The 7-08 is a Tikka T3X. For the 243 I’d probably use a Sierra 85 BTHP as the gun is sighted in for that, for the 7mm I’d use a 120 ballistic tip or 130 Speer. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Mike

The 243 will dispatch any deer as well as the 7-08 will. Deer don't take a whole lot of killing. It being lighter recoiling on top of that answers your question. It doesn't matter that the 243 is sighted in with the BTHP. Switch to a Partition. The 85 grain works great if you want to keep the same weight.
