MM, interesting article. I just started loading some .223 for my new AR and just lucked out because all I have is Remington 7 1/2 primers, which is what I use in my Hornet.
I, of course did not know of this problem and don’t really know what I could of done if a softer primer was used. Don’t have a .223 bolt gun, only the Hornet and a 220 swift, so I would have to give the reloads to friends.
