While I've killed a few elk with this bullet (with stellar results), the toughest test was on an Oryx, on WSMR. I was shooting a 225 AB, out of my 338 rum, at roughly 3100 fps.....figuring on the probability of a long(er) shot. Naturally, the shot was at 67 yards.

The bull was perfectly broadside, and I placed the bullet in the upper front leg bone. It busted through it, along with a rib or 2, and through the opposite upper leg bone. The bullet was found, just under the skin. It was the standard A/B mushroom, with the large frontal area, and weighted 138 grains. It was the furthest back I've seen an accubond peel back......other than a little less bullet shank showing, under the mushroom.....it looked like any of the others I've recovered. I was impressed that it held together, considering the impact velocity, and what I drove it through!
