BrowningGuy88, you mean you just shoot em and dump them? Man, that's $1800+ I can't afford to lose from the bottom line. We keep them till about 4-5 years old, then after breeding season, take them to town. They go to town younger if they get hurt or don't test well.

After a night of running one through pine wood thickets and him tearing down fences and running over people, I forget about the bottom line.
The last one broke 4 ribs and bruised a knee up so bad I hobbled for weeks. He got the 45 Colt treatment. And if it hadn’t been for a dang good cut dog, he’d have put me in the morgue before I got a chance to shoot him.
