Barry, I started taking Millie with me when she was just a few months old when I'd go squirrel hunting. She really picked up on what we were doing, and usually spots them before I do.
That's good to have a smart dog like that.
Mine will follow the tree rats from tree to tree until I can catch up.
Now if I could just teach them not to fight over dove.
Both retrieve rather well, but they make it a contest, and I get pissed when they start arguing over a bird, and chew it up...
