gotta ask. Why are ya'll using 22's on deer?
Because they work.
Have used the 45's out of a 22-250 and they worked just fine.
That's a little light for me. When hunting with my .223 (5.56x45) I use Speer 70 grain Semi Spitzers. Never had a deer survive one yet.
