Well I burned 40 rounds loaded with the 3031. Thirty of them were 32.5 grains of it under a Barnes 140 gr. Matchburner sparked with a CCI 250. Cases were already sized and primed waiting on the 100 gr. Partitions but I felt I would see how good I could get 3031 to shoot with the match bullets. I absolutely was not disappointed. I got ten in just under an inch. Not as good as what I can do with my favorite 4350 load but plenty good for general purposes. And it is windy today good thing I only shot at 100 yards. As for velocity the old Dupont manual says 2500 fps plus or minus a few feet per second. The last ten were some crappy seconds 130 gr. ELDM bullets I used to fireform some cases to my chamber made from 7-08 brass. All ten went into 2 inches and the cases came out looking perfect.
