That is what Mauser/Blaser/Sauer-USA told me as well. Same base metal as the blued version, with the Teflon coating. And not blued stainless.
Haha I think we talked to the same rep. She was very confused why multiple callers wanted to know about it. She also said Mauser hiked prices in 2020 and is likely to do it again. So these might be an even better deal than we know.
