Call me crazy, but having owned both (well, an M12 not an M18), I would consider this a better deal: https://gunprime.com/products/winchester-xpr-30-06-24-535700228-new

Neither is CRF. The XPR barrel is excellent. The trigger is excellent. So I'd call them a tie to that point... but 06 > 308 for $30 less. The XPR stock is also paintable. The grippy Mauser stock looks like it's going to have to stay black.
