‘If’ the threats are legitimate, and those making the threats have the ability to carry them out...‘maybe’ the answer to your question is simply a guy who is primarily concerned about the safety and well-being of his wife and children. If he had no family and it was just him...I can see one taking the position of “bring it on mutherphuukers.”
