You guys who think the cops or Military won't shoot
Americans are not seeing how life works.
You are like the commandos who envision a big shoot out
with a burglar.
Don't work that way. You don't get a nice big warning.
Lifes funny how reality isn't like fantasies.
With The Guard?
There aren't many of them wanting to shoot people.
Today.
They probably hate the idea of any violence.
But!
There is a protest,
Turned riot,
Turned a few serious injuries to Guards.
Their perspective shifts, slightly.
Stabbings, maybe a death or 3.
Then, shots from a crowd, or a sniper(sort of).
New game!
Us vs Them.
"They" are murdering "Us".
"We have to go home after this. F' them!"
It's a war.
Limited rules of engagement, maybe.
But you can bet your sweet ass they absolutely will
be willing to shoot you.
