Some dudes take the oath pretty seriously.
Some. Is some the majority? The ones you know, and I know, of course. How about all the rest. The sample folks like you and I would know are like minded individuals. How about all the ones from the inner city and urban areas? Think they give a [bleep] about the 2nd or a bunch of rural “racist” white boys and their “rights”?
Simple question, would you kill your friends and neighbors? 2nd question have you served in the U.S. military or been a sworn LEO?

So you are pretty much talking out of your ass w/ no basis in experience. Have you ever sworn an oath to protect the constitution or your fellow citizens? Some have and take it rather seriously. YMMV

“Some” maybe. Most are on a power trip. Are you one of the LEO’s that refers to us as “civilians”? If so, GFY.
The questions remains simple. Would you kill your friends and neighbors over a matter of politics? Which are on a " power trip" based on your depth of experience in LE and/or the military. Have you ever sworn to uphold the U.S. Constitution.
After you answer I will consider the physical feasability of GFY.
PS. I am, and always have been one of "us' no matter what was worn on a sleeve.
