My first S&W model 25, 45 Colt, it has been modified with a Patridge front sight, the barrel has been lapped, the cylinder throats uniformed, trigger stop, the trigger polished smooth, the action polished and tuned. This pistol loves hard cast 250 grain Saeco bullets, over 8.5 to 9.5 grains of Unique. IfI were to choose a rifle, my choice would fall between Siamese Mauser in 45 - 70 or a Mark X chambered for 375 Whelen.
