I think I've had tinnitus from the time I was about 13 years old. As long as I pay it no mind it doesn't bother me, but if I do pay attention I definitely "hear" it. Moving around, it doesn't seem to register but if I'm sitting in a blind on a nice calm day it sure reminds me it's there. I guess I've gotten used to it...can't remember what it's like to not have it.
