most of the large consumption of soft drinks, don't use sugar anyway they use azulfamine, and sugar subs. while they have less insulin stimulating effect than sucrose/glucose they still have some.

Yes everything you ingest has an insulin response, one of the reasons,, fasting is so important, (most people do it for at least 8 hours while asleep). Problem is that supposed nutrition experts invented a scale which puts sucrose at the top,
everything but type I diabetes should be relabeled insulin resistant --- not type II or late mature onset bullshhhet
