Politics aside, I can't imagine how any father could let his child do this to themselves. It's probably one of the worst forms of self destruction you can cultivate.
This "child" is a grown man his 50's with privilege few will ever know.
They only thing child-like about him is a history of making horrible life choices and having his old man's standing bail him out.
