thank you i kinda wondered about the Berger bullets both of the buck`s exit holes were around 4 inches out of my 257 Weatherby mag. with the 115 gr. Berger bullets the 170 lb. buck shot at 150 yards went 12 ft. and the 205 lb. went around 40-50 yards and run into a tree also shot with 115 gr. Berger. those weights were dressed buck weights. the big buck had a heck of a blood trail and heart on this buck was in many small pieces too, so i really wondered if that bullet did blow up , now with your great picture i see what really happened . i just might go back to using either Nosler partitions or Swift A-Frames for deer hunting for bucks again.
