Thanks for the reply. The gun is stamped 629-4 and the box and gun SN's match. I'll dig out my book today. Speaking of grips, I recently purchased what appear to be factory grips. Both are N-frame RB with one set without emblem and rather flat on the side like those of a M610 no dash with a matte finish, the other set with emblem, gloss finish and highly figured wood. I'll dig through book and see if I can figure out what they were once on.
