What ?? He couldn't just place the gun on the bench with the muzzle pointed downrange ?? I've had hot brass problems like that before. Set the damn gun down and attend to your needs..... Oh; wait.... That would be too logical. Perhaps that range should have a "wall of shame" where they post pictures of idiots up on the wall. He's a sure bet for that.
