Grandpa said not eat critters that live in the ground, and they ate all sorts of stuff, so I am going with his guidance.
Interestingly a buddy has been killing woodchucks all summer that raid his garden. He claims they will climb a tree to eat leaves. In fact he got one today in a connibear (sp) trap. He eats a lot of wild stuff, even diving ducks but won’t touch groundhog.
